Topa is looking for motivated Security Personnel to join our team in the Langian Area.
Position Title: Security Personnel
Location: Aspen Power Plant
Start Date:Immediate
Closing:Position will remain open until a successful candidate is hired
Responsibilities:
- Manage access cards through the security computer system
- Camera Surveillance
- Monitor the telephone transferring calls and using the paging system
- Complete weekly fire alarm testing
- Complete weekly inventory and unit checks
- Monitor access gates and parking lots
- Greet customer and register visitors as needed
- Provide basic first aid
- Ensure the protection of people assets and property
- Conduct preventive surveillance rounds according to established procedures
- Provide impeccable customer service
- Prevent fire theft and vandalism
- Enforce the regulations in effect at the premises
- Write daily reports and incident reports
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid Security Guard License
- First Aid level C with AED
- Professional deportment
- Proactive attention to detail selfmotivated and team player
- Above average written oral communication and computer skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Drivers license and access to a vehicle
- Previous experience in security (asset)
Safety:
Attend and participate in the following exercises:
- Safety meetings
- Tool box talks
- Site inspections
- Complete FLRAs
