Safety Officer**

**Reports To:**
The Safety Officer will report to the Project Executives and Ownership.
**Position Summary:**
The Safety Officer collaborates with the Superintendent and Project Manager to oversee direct and ensure compliance with Corporate Safety and Health policies and procedures.
**Key Responsibilities:**
Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in alignment with company standards and regulations.
Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Provide safety training to employees and subcontractors on best practices and protocols.
Investigate accidents or incidents analyze root causes and implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records of safety inspections trainings and incidents.
Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
Collaborate with project teams to promote a culture of safety and awareness on job sites.
**Qualifications:**
Bachelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety Environmental Science or related field.
Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and problemsolving abilities.
Certification in CPR First Aid and OSHA 30 preferred.
