Job Description
Contract SR Structural Designer 1
We are looking for a Contract SR Structural Designer 1 to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of structural design principles and experience in a variety of structural engineering applications. The position will be based in our office in City State.
Responsibilities:
- Performing structural design calculations and analysis
- Preparing and reviewing structural drawings and specifications
- Working with other engineers and architects to develop and implement design solutions
- Ensuring that designs meet all applicable codes and standards
- Providing technical support to clients and project teams
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent required with additional technical training or experience
- 10 years of experience in Civil/structural design
- Strong understanding of structural design principles and practices
- Steel/concrete detailing experience is required
- Have 3D modeling experience and produce clear concise drawings
- Experience with Advance Steel is a plus.
- Good organization skills with ability to balance multiple projects.
- Experience in performing site walkdowns preforming steel inspections and writing site reports is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
