- Setup of Linux servers with Proxmox and Kubernetes on baremetal hardware.
- Installation and configuration of the 4G/5G packet core network management systems network switches and connected radio access network.
- Testing the network end to end with end devices and integration with applications.
- Discussion of technical solutions with customers.
- Customer support and contact person until the networks are handed over to operation.
- Support onsite the implementation of the 5G private networks.
- Adaptation of solutions concepts according to customer requirements.
- Collaborate with product development team to continuously improve the product.
- Take part in support and operations of the customers 5G private networks and internal 5G Lab.
- Take part of the OnCall service rotation for providing support 24/7.
- Strong experience in Linux operating system.
- Solid work experience in networking technologies.
- Experience troubleshooting complex networks.
- Solid work experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
- Strong work experience with virtualization technologies.
- Availability to travel to customer premises primarily within Germany but also abroad.
- Fluency in written and spoken German and English.
- Experience with Proxmox.
- Good understanding of layer 2 and 3 networking.
- Knowledge in mobile networks such as 4G and 5G.
- Previous experience in network support and operations roles.
- ITIL Knowledge.
- Work from the COCUS Office in Dsseldorf a minimum of 3 days a week.
