Job Description
Department: Information Technology (IT)
Reports To: Keith Miller
Location: Baxter TN
Summary: The Oracle EBS Developer will bridge the gap between IT and the business ensuring the successful completion of tasks related to technical solutions benefiting the business internally and externally. This role involves implementing technical and functional Oracle EBS solutions across the project lifecycle designing and developing technical solutions aligned with business requirements resolving software issues working on ERP configurations and collaborating internally and externally to optimize business processes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Formulate and define system scope and objectives for moderate to complex technology systems.
Design and implement costeffective solutions within specified timeframes and performance standards.
Develop documentation for business processes across multiple applications covering scope requirements functional technical testing and deployment aspects.
Work within SDLC lifecycle utilizing methodologies like waterfall and agile.
Resolve software issues/bugs and integration challenges across multiple applications.
Collaborate on configurations extensions modifications localizations and integrations (CEMLI) of ERP software.
Analyze and address patch and upgrade impacts on application processes including functional and technical aspects and resolve potential system issues.
Implement functional setups related to Oracle EBS modules Oracle APEX and Salesforce.
Develop conversions customizations and integrations for ERP applications and associated systems.
Utilize programming languages such as SQL PL/SQL Java JavaScript C C JSON HTML CSS Unix Scripting and frameworks including Oracle Application Framework Springs and Application Development Framework.
Employ various tools including Oracle Forms Reports Workflows JDeveloper TOAD SQL Developer Oracle APEX XML Publisher Eclipse BI Publisher SQL Server Reporting Services SQL Server Intelligence Services Hyperion SQL*Loader and PVCS.
Work on projects involving multiple Oracle modules such as General Ledger Payables Receivables Order Management Purchasing Project Accounting Inventory Work in Process Bills of Material Advance Supply Chain Planning Production Scheduling Human Resources Time and Labor and Payroll.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree (BA) from a fouryear college or university or one to two years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 3 years of Oracle development experience.
Oracle Certification preferred.
Physical Demands:
The position may require sitting standing and some light lifting (less than 20 pounds).
