In your role as a Speech Pathologist you will have the opportunity to work with both adults and children thereby making a significant difference in their communication and swallowing abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and create personalized treatment plans for clients across various age groups.
- Deliver evidencebased therapies and interventions for speech language and swallowing disorders.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals including occupational therapists psychologists and physiotherapists to provide comprehensive care for clients.
- Educate clients and their families regarding communication strategies and therapy objectives.
- Maintain precise documentation and progress notes in accordance with practice protocols.
- Participate in continual professional development and foster a positive team environment.
Qualifications:
- A recognised degree in Speech Pathology.
- Current registration with the Speech Pathology Association of Australia (or equivalent).
- Experience working with both adults and children is preferred though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
