Temporary Art and Technology Technician

Grade 3(SCP 5 6 8625.58 8762.32(actual salary)

15 hours per week 39weeks per year

We wish to appoint a temporary part time energetic enthusiastic and inspirational Art and Technology Technician with a strong commitment to working with young people in an educational setting. Applicants should possess level 2 qualifications in English and Maths (or equivalent) and be keen to undertake further development/education.

You will work closely with the Technology department to deliver an efficient and effective support service to staff and students. Previous experience in an education environment and assisting with practical lessons would be an advantage but is not essential.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills which will allow them to engage with students and the technology team. A flexible approach to work is a prerequisite as the role will require supporting staff and students in the classroom. You will also have the confidence to be able to use all equipment and machinery fully however training will be provided.
