Job Description:
Were looking for a Parts Associate to join our fastpaced service team. If you have a passion for logistics and customer service this is the perfect role for you. In this position you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient flow of inventory in and support internal operations and deliver exceptional customer service.
What Youll Do:
- Assist customers with selecting parts and accessories providing recommendations.
- Answer phone calls address inquiries and direct calls appropriately.
- Receive inspect and document incoming shipments and report discrepancies.
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments with accurate labeling and timely delivery.
- Maintain an organized warehouse including stocking shelves and managing inventory.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment safely maintaining certification and training.
- Serve as a Parts Counterperson during absences assisting customers with part selection and orders.
- Perform regular inventory counts to ensure stock accuracy.
What You Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 12 years in a parts position.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving abstract.
Additional Strengths:
- Familiarity with inventory management software would be considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in inventory or shipments.
- Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills particularly in a retail or parts environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
