Job Description
Pay: $ 18.50 per hour

Facility name:Tongue Point Job Corps Center
Location: Astoria OR
Schedules Available:
- Four days 10hour shifts to include weekends
- Five days 8hour shifts to include weekends

Job responsibilities:Patrols Center grounds manages front desk for guest signin and temporary badges distribution monitors that all staff and students wear ID badges and ensures the safety of staff students and visitors. Control surveillance identification monitoring investigation and reporting of all matters pertaining to center property facilities students staff and visitors.
Essential functions:
- Ensure safety and security of staff students buildings and property through patrols inspections and investigations.
- Maintain logs; write incident reports and accident documentation.
- Conduct searches when required; assure accountability of students; complete student and visitor checkin and checkout procedures.
- Conduct telephone switchboard and radio dispatch duties at main gate.
- Provide positive quality customer service to students and staff.
- Transport students in rural or urban environments as needed.
- Assist with development of new safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in student employability programs and activities.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- One years security experience.
- Have the ability to occasionally lift and carry 5070 pounds and frequently climb stairs for patrols investigations and emergencies.
- A valid driver license in the state where the facility is located with an acceptable driving record is required unless waived by management.
