Job Description
Responsibilities
Sentinel Technologies is looking for a Network Engineer for one of our clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with network troubleshooting firewall administration user system set up help desk troubleshooting and application support as needed. This role is a direct placement reporting onsite to our client location in Hillside IL.
Qualifications
- 57 years of experience in network administration troubleshooting and IT support.
- Strong knowledge of firewall administration routing and switching.
- Experience with VPNs LAN/WAN and wireless networks.
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux environments.
- Experience supporting enterprise applications and troubleshooting software issues.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills to assist both technical and nontechnical users.
- Certifications such as CCNA Network or equivalent experience preferred.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted and ability to walk multiple flights of stairs along with lifting ladders and track cable runs
- The candidate must have a car as this position requires travel between locations and the transportation of equipment
- A valid drivers license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Must demonstrate a cando attitude

Compensation Range:
$65000$75000 a year
