Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Senior Structural Draughtsperson to join their team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting structural engineers with drawing preparation coordination and maintaining drawing standards across projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of various drawings including layout plans sections elevations and detailing.
- Develop conceptual layouts and design details.
- Review drawings prepared by junior draughtspersons to ensure adherence to company standards.
- Coordinate with engineers and other disciplines to ensure project requirements are met.
- Perform clash detection and manage drawing registers.
- Prepare Revit models and provide general drawing office administration support as required.
Requirements:
- National Senior Certificate (NSC) (Grade 12.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in reinforced concrete and structural steelwork draughting in the built environment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit Structures and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certificate of Completion in AutoDesk Revit Structures is essential.
- Knowledge of industry standards regulations and codes relevant to structural design.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Own vehicle and valid drivers license.
