Job Description
Austin Peay State University is seeking a candidate for tenuretrack position for an education generalist. The teaching assignment will include general method and assessment courses at the undergraduate and graduate level and supervision of clinical teachers. Faculty members will also advise preservice teacher candidates who are seeking a professional teaching license and conduct research. There is a possibility of teaching online and off campus courses. Position to begin August 2018. The College of Education at Austin Peay State University provides teacher training in an environment that provides opportunities for students and faculty to work and learn together. Small classes provide opportunities for students and faculty to establish relationships that will last throughout a students academic career. Teaching and advising are valued skills and weighed equally with research in the evaluation process.
