Job Description
The Assistant Director performs duties to ensure institutional compliance with department institutional state federal NCAA and ACC guidelines. Supports the Office of Compliance team with the overall operations of athletics compliance including compliancerelated projects and other administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Compliance or their designee. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: coordination of daytoday compliance activities; serve as liaison with multiple offices on campus; athletics registrar financial aid housing admissions; provide legislative and interpretive guidelines for institution; oversight of specific compliance components as noted in job responsibility section.
Responsibilities
Perform initial eligibility assessments for prospective student athletes. Perform admissions and international admissions clearing functions for prospective student athletes. Provide interpretative answers to questions from coaches staff and studentathletes. Educate coaches and studentathletes on NCAA rules. Writes violation selfreports and NCAA waivers. Monitors incoming transfers. Processes Official/Unofficial Visits. Supports tracking and monitoring of Time Demands Legislation and CARA . Oversees Charitable Donation Program. Oversees Individual Associated with a Prospect IAWP Program. Oversees compliance program and roster management for individual sports as experience permits.
