Job Description
Civil Project Engineer
Location: Portland Oregon
Salary Range: $75000 to $95000
Position Overview:
We have an immediate opening for a Civil Project Engineer in our Portland office. This role is perfect for an individual with a passion for civil engineering design and a commitment to sustainability and development services. As a Civil Project Engineer you will be involved in a wide variety of project types playing a key role from conceptual planning through to project approval and construction. This position offers a hybrid work schedule allowing for both inoffice and remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Design and Development: Lead and contribute to the design and development of civil engineering projects including site and public infrastructure building and wastewater/water projects.
Sustainability Focus: Integrate sustainable practices into all aspects of design and development.
Project Coordination: Coordinate project efforts across multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project .
Technical Expertise: Utilize your indepth knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D to create precise and efficient design solutions.
Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide innovative solutions.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs meet relevant regulations and standards and obtain necessary approvals.
Qualifications:
Experience: 3 to 8 years of experience in civil engineering design with specific experience in building and wastewater/water projects.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is mandatory.
Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required.
Education: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
