Job Requirements:
We are looking for a Cardiology Technician to join our team at Sir H N Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic tests on patients and providing medical care to them. The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of cardiology and be able to work independently.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Mentor / Director / Consultants in delivery of patient care as per the clinical standards.
Adhere to the standard Cardiology departmental procedures and protocols
Check with the Mentor/ Director / Consultants about his / her need for standard and special equipment and ensure availability at all times
Coordinate with the nursing staff to fill the requirements and needs for any particular departmental activity as and when required
Identify the patient correctly and educate the patient with the purpose prerequisites required for the procedure and explain the procedure to the patient
Responsible for upkeep & calibration of all equipment of the department. Liaise with Biomedical Engineer to ensure to smooth functioning of all equipment of the department.
Report any damage to the instruments / equipment in the department to the concerned Biomedical and follow up for replacement
Follow standard protocols for ECG Exercise testing TEE DSE and Stress ECHO.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Cardiology or related field.
110 years of experience in a cardiology technician role.
Knowledge of cardiology and medical terminology.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail.
