Responsible for the sale and servicing of new and assigned Commercial Lines accounts and to provide accurate and courteous service to insureds and insurance companies regarding those accounts. You will be expected to assist other Commercial Lines Service Agents and they will assist you whenever necessary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.
Responsible for the selling and servicing of new and existing accounts by quoting requested coverage rounding out account with other lines of P & C coverage as well as Life insurance products.
Receive document and process all insureds requests for service to the insurance company the day the request is received when possible or by the next day. Every effort should be made to maintain a 0 backlog of work on hand.
Maintain files in an organized and proper manner and as may be specified by management.
Keep abreast of new policies coverages etc. available to our agency and insureds in order to provide proper coverages at competitive prices.
Keep abreast of procedures and updates on all company software in order to process requested changes or new coverage.
Assist claims department providing necessary information relative to an insureds coverages.
Keep other producers fully informed of allimportant activities on their accounts.
REVIEW and reunderwrite renewals as directed by management.
Perform other pertinent tasks as requested by management.
Attend all agency staff and/or management meetings as requested by management.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience
College or high school graduate with current P & C and Life Insurance License. Some related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving variables in standardized situations.
