Schedules orders distributes work and optimizes production efficiency. Key tasks include tracking schedules managing workloads and adjusting plans to meet changing demands. The planner maintains a systemic focus on customer demand to balance the production schedule. Responsibilities also include processing work assignments in staffing scheduling coordinating and planning while considering established priorities and the availability or capability of workers parts materials machines and equipment. Coordination with the supply chain and support for production teams are essential. The role involves assisting in process improvements analyzing data and managing multiple requests. Effective communication with supervisors departments and customers is crucial. The planner will also run meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
