Job Description
ConnectUs (www.connectuscorp) is seeking a Shipping Associate to join our fastpaced entrepreneurial team. As a Shipping Associate you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely shipment of goods to our customers. Your keen attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in maintaining our high standards of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and pack orders for shipment according to company standards and customer requirements in a highvolume fastpaced environment.
- Ensure accuracy in picking packing and labeling of products.
- Verify and inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with carriers and logistics partners to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and inventory checks.
- Handle and resolve shippingrelated issues such as damaged products or shipping errors.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
- Adhere to shipping and safety regulations policies and procedures.
- Responsible for managing and continuously improving shipping software (shipstation) and other systems for optimal efficiency
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
- Proven experience in a shipping warehouse or logistics role preferably in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling shipments and paperwork.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient computer skills including familiarity with shipping software and systems.
- Ability to lift and move heavy packages when necessary.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Assist with other tasks and functions in the warehouse
