Position Title: Stage Assistant Rate of Pay: $18.00 per hour Position Purpose: Assists the Entertainment Supervisors in the coordination and management of entertainment programming at various stages for the annual OC Fair. This is a seasonal/temporary position not to exceed 122 days. Essential Functions: - Coordinates administrative tasks and performance schedules with other members of the Entertainment Department team and contractors at the assigned stage.
- Responds to inquiries and provides information to other departments venues facilities performers performer representatives and the general public.
- Performs recordkeeping duties including documenting attendance numbers and entering performance information.
- Introduces performers for each performance
- Assists with loadin loadout and any setup at the stage.
- Works with sound contractors staff to facilitate the performers needs.

- Experience with stage management and/leadership including local theatre school productions or other similar experience.
- Must be an excellent verbal and written communicator.
- Must possess excellent teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
- Ability to work long hours during an irregular schedule and on weekends including the ability to work all 23 days of the annual OC Fair.
- Must be flexible in order to meet the changing demands of this fastpaced department.
- Ability to work outside the normal business day/week as demanded by events and programs.
Preferences: - Experience with stage crew including local theatre school productions or other similar experience is preferred.
- College degree in a related field preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills a plus.
