Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the general ledger ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
- Prepare and analyze monthly quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Assist with the coordination and preparation of internal and external audits.
- Perform account reconciliations journal entries and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Provide support for budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience with a focus on real estate.
- Proficiency in Yardi software is required.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
