Job Description

DirectSupport Professional

Location:Cincinnati Ohio

Hours & Shifts:Full and part time hours are available; work hours vary by location

Starting Pay:$16.50/hourwith an additional $1.00 shift differential on weekends.

About the Role

As a Direct Support Professional you will provideprimary support services to individuals with developmental disabilities while fostering a teaching relationship that encourages healthy and productive personal growth community inclusion creativity and independence.

Essential Functions of the Role

Promote and support theappropriate level of independent living; which may include teaching oversight and handson assistance with the activities of daily living
Encourage anindividuals engagement in social and community activities as well as appropriate physical/wellness activities
Ensure an individuals health and safety needs are being met
Commit to being part of a team that creates and sustains a diverse inclusive and equitable workplace culture.

Candidate Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent isrequired
Current and valid drivers license (with fewer than 6 points) and vehicle insurance
Ability to p a background check (includes physical and a drug screen and criminal check)
Ability to work a flexible schedule (including evenings weekends and holidays)
