Position Summary
Career Readiness Learning Objectives: Leadership Use personal strengths and skills to set a positive example for camp attendees and successfully lead them during academic and after hour activities. Teamwork Become proficient in building relationships and working with other academic camp supervisors as well as work collaboratively with camp attendees to create positive experiences. This student will participate both CyberPatriot Summer camps hosted by I HACK and contribute to camp planning in partnership with the Camp Coordinator. These camp counselor responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assisting with camp activities that professors/content experts host Supervising camp students during daytime and after hour activities Staying overnight on campus supervising the camp students as a Resident Manager Accompanying students to meals and activities around campus Obtaining the necessary clearances needed Completing necessary training regarding camp counselor qualifications All confirmed Summer Camps requiring attendance include: June 23rd27th July 21st25th
Physical Demands
Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs.
Required Qualifications
Must be local in Erie and able to travel to and from campus OR willing and available to live on campus for the entire summer Must be available for all listed camp dates Must have previous experience working with and supervising children under the age of 18
