Inviting applications for the role of Vice President Underwriting Practice SME/Practitioner
In this role as an Underwriting Subject Matter Expert (SME) you will be responsible for driving growth (through continuous market penetration) of the Underwriting practice globally with a specific focus on North America UK and Europe.

You will achieve this by developing and executing strategies and tactics directly translatable into tangible benefits for the underwriting functions of insurance organizations. Your contributions will be broad encompassing management consulting leading or supporting the development of digital capabilities identifying market trends and opportunities managing existing digital and nondigital assets and supporting in the expansion of Genpacts global presence within underwriting carriers. This role will be focused primarily on P&C insurance markets with an emphasis on commercial and specialty segments. Experience in Life and Broking organizations would be of additional benefit but is not a critical requirement.

Some travel will be involved constituting up to 25 of the role. Travel locations will be primarily Europe and North America. occasionally others.

The role requires a selfstarter able to work under his/her own initiative with marginal supervision. The role does not have supervisory responsibilities. The ability to work remotely in a collaborative manner across geographies and functions is critical.

Responsibilities
Managing a portfolio of several Genpacts Insurance Underwriting products/solutions. This aspect is similar to a Product Management role.
Comanage (along with Genpacts client relationship team) a portfolio of existing Genpact insurance underwriting clients.
Develop new products and solutions organically or through external partnerships and collaborations with the objective that these solutions contribute towards transforming the insurance underwriting segment.
Develop and manage gotomarket strategies for assigned products and customer markets designed to achieve annual revenue and sales targets.
Participate and often lead responses to RFPs and business proposals for potential clients.
Provide thought leadership market knowledge and a solutionsdriven perspective to internal and external audiences regularly.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Insurance experience in an Underwriting Product Management Business Development or similar role.
University degree or a relevant commensurate alternative.
Thorough understanding and expertise in Commercial Specialty Insurance Underwriting and its ecosystem of supporting/regulatory organizations with particular focus on niche specialisms such as Lloyds market Delegated Authority Underwriting and MultiNationals programs.
Evidence of previous involvement in significant transformation programs.
Grasp of current market challenges trends and opportunities
Experience ability and comfort engaging with senior level insurance company executives.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Excellent presentation skills.
Ability to lead transformation programs including leading and directing client workshops.
Hands on knowledge of MS Office.
Prior P&L responsibilities for insurance related products.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Industryspecific certifications or qualifications
Experience working in a global or multinational environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and navigate complex organizational structures.
