DirectorSenior Manager SEC Reporting

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director/Senior Manager SEC Reporting to lead our SEC reporting function. This role is critical in ensuring the timely and accurate preparation and filing of all periodic SEC reports and supporting technical accounting matters. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP SEC regulations and have a proven track record of managing the SEC reporting process within a publicly traded company. You will be a key liaison with external auditors internal audit and various stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• SEC Reporting Leadership:
• Direct and manage the entire SEC reporting process ensuring timely and accurate preparation and filing of all periodic reports 10K 10Q 8K etc. using ActiveDisclosure.
• Maintain and manage the SEC filing calendar and timelines ensuring adherence to all deadlines.
• Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements footnotes earnings releases and investor presentations.
• Lead the drafting and review of all disclosures to ensure compliance with SEC regulations.
• Technical Accounting Expertise:
• Serve as a subject matter expert on U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Research and resolve complex technical accounting and reporting issues providing clear and wellsupported documentation (memos).
• Stay abreast of new accounting pronouncements and SEC regulations assessing their impact on the companys financial reporting.
• Audit and Compliance:
• Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits.
• Manage the preparation of PBC (Prepared By Client) requests and ensure timely responses to auditor inquiries.
• Collaborate with internal audit to maintain and enhance SOX 404(a) compliance.
• Financial Reporting and Analysis:
• Lead the monthly financial reporting process and support analytical reviews of financial statements.
• Utilize Intacct to generate financial reports and ensure accurate consolidation.
• Process Improvement and Systems:
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the SEC reporting function.
• Support the implementation and development of new finance systems and tools.
• Automate mundane tasks to allow for focus on more important priorities.
• Team Development:
• Mentor and develop junior staff through training coaching and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field required.
• 8 years of combined public accounting and industry experience.
• 5 years of experience in public accounting (Big 4 strongly preferred) auditing publicly traded companies.
• 5 years of SEC reporting experience within a publicly traded company.
• Current CPA license (any state) required.
• Expert knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC rules and regulations (SK SX FD Exchange Act etc..
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with ActiveDisclosure (or similar tools).
• Experience with Intacct (or similar tools).
• Strong analytical problemsolving and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
