Position Title: Culinary Exhibit Attendant Rate of Pay: $17.00 per hour Position Purpose: Provides a variety of support to the Exhibits Program including safeguarding building entrances/exits. Answering questions from the public. Assisting with the judging process and competitive entries. May assist in installing and dismantling exhibit components. This is a seasonal/temporary position not to exceed 122 days. Essential Functions: - During events safeguards exhibits and watches building entrances and exits.
- Provides information about the exhibit to the public and answers questions about the exhibit the event and the property.
- Assists with Culinary competitions including clerking entries and assisting judges.
- Assists with the display and maintenance of food entries.
- Assists with Culinary crafts activities.
- May clean a variety of exhibit structures and props prepares them for use installs them where instructed and dismantles at the end of an event.
- May be involved in receiving and preparing competitive entries for judging and assists in the judging process as needed.
- May provide basic clerical assistance as needed.
- Dismantles competitive exhibits and returns entries to the public at the end of the event.
- May assist with maintaining cleanliness of Culinary exhibit areas including dusting mopping washing dishes cleaning out refrigerators and discarding of expired food items.

- Previous experience working with the public required.
- Must possess excellent customer service skills.
- Strong teamwork skills a must.
- Must be available to work the 23 days of Fair.
- Must be available for either day or evening shifts.
- Ability to work outside the normal business day/week as demanded by events and programs.
Preferences: - Previous experience in a related field preferred.
- Some clerical experience preferred.
- Creativity and problem solving ability preferred.
