The Allure Group islooking for a Cook to join the team at our Skilled Nursing Facility inBrooklyn NY!

As a Cook at The Allure Group youwould be part of a winning team doing meaningful work to improve the quality oflife health and comfort of residents.
Cook Responsibilities
- Prepare food in quantities according to themenu recipe and number of persons to be served
- Comply with state federal and all otherapplicable health care safety and sanitation standards
- Monitor and record temperatures in refrigeratorsand freezers
- Inspect special dietary restrictions ofresidents to assure that the correct diet is served to residents
- Process diet changes and new diets as receivedfrom Nursing Services
- Ensure that food and supplies for meals are readilyavailable
- Assist in inventorying and storing incomingfood supplies etc. as necessary
Requirements
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Knowledge of dietary procedures
- Food handlercertification
Preferred
- At least oneyear dietary cook experience in ahospital skilled nursing facility or other related medical facilities
