Overview

We are offering a total of $1500.00 Hiring Incentive as follows: $750 after 6 months of employment; $750 after 12 months of employment (subject to your current tax rates).

Hampton will match up to 4 weeks per year of paid time off for relevant industry experience.

The position of Operator 1s primary function is to learn and operate various machine centers within the sawmill/planer. (Work is subject to change based on faciility needs) Other tasks include cleanup and general maintenance around the facility.

Shift Schedule: Day Shift: MondayThursday 5am3:30pm. Swing Shift: MondayThursday 4:30pm3am (Schedule subject to change based on facility needs)

This position has an hourly rate of $22.66 $30.69 $47132 $63835 annually) which does not include any applicable shift differential. Production bonuses are possible for every employee each month based on the plant sites target goals.

Responsibilities

  • Practice safe work habits and comply with all company work and safety standards
  • Keep sawmill/planer clean areas include basement walkways chipper and etc.
  • Pick up slabs sticks sawdust and chips off lower mill floors
  • Assist with dust mitigation
  • Good communication skills through writing speech and hearing
  • Follow company lockout policies
  • Notify supervisor of any problems that might arise
  • Be willing to train at machine centers
  • Help relieve for breaks and lunches
  • Apply good housekeeping standards to your work area or any area you observe

Training that may be required:

  • Fall Protection
  • Lockout
  • PIT (Powered Industrial Truck)
  • Ladder
