Job Description

Reconditioning Service Manager

Chariot Automotive Group one of North Central Indianas fasting growing Automotive Groups is looking for an experienced Reconditioning Service Manager to join our Team in the Central Indiana area.

The Reconditioning Service Manager is responsible for assisting in the management of all aspects of the Reconditioning Center; including bottom line management workflow performance management and quality assurance resolution. The Reconditioning Service Manager must be able to meet goals and make sure that all vehicles purchased at auction or traded in meet our company standard before they are sent to our retail stores for final sale.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the dealerships are constantly supplied with a sufficient variety of high quality vehicles to meet their sales demand..
  • Evaluate Reconditioning Center team performance and give feedback constantly regularly and in a timely manner based on both observations of performance behavior and a review of performance statistics.
  • Hire train manage and retain service team not limited to advisors and technicians
  • Ability to listen communicate effectively and resolve conflict with customers employee and coworkers
  • Meets department financial objectives by estimating requirements; preparing annual sales and service budgets; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions
  • Manage and maintain factory standards for warranty claims
  • Maintain high CSI rating by handling customer complaints immediately and appropriately
  • Maintain customer follow up system that encourages repeat and referral business
  • Establishes department goals and objectives measures progress analyzes results and makes improvements as needed
  • Manage shop productivity labor hours cost of sale and operating expenses to provide for a profitable department

Qualifications:

  • Two years of servicemanagement experience in an automotive dealership required
  • Strong workethic with the ability to work in a fastpaced resultsdriven environment
  • Proven management leadership with successful experience in automotive retail management
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Valid and clean Indiana drivers license
  • Ability to work extended hours and Saturdays
  • Strong focus on providing excellent customer service
