Job Summary

ATC Healthcare is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for an assignment in the MedicalSurgical unit in Liberal KS. The primary responsibility of the Medical/Surgical Nurse is to provide coordinate and document medical care throughout a patients stay at the facility. Specific responsibilities depend on the ailment in question and involve care from beginning to end. The Nurse plays a key communication role by coordinating care with various members of the patients medical team. Additionally the Med/Surg Nurse provides emotional support to patients and their family members.

Responsibilities

• Admitting and assessing patients
• Administering medications and treatments
• Monitoring vital signs and symptoms
• Operating and tracking medical equipment
• Running and ordering tests
• Coordinating care with physicians and specialists
• Charting patient progress
• Patient ratio: 1:6

Requirements

• Experience: 2year experience required
• Firsttime Travelers: 1year previous travel experience
• Certifications/License: BLS Valid KS or Compact RN license
• Need to have experience with children and infants
• Charting:
• OnCall: Yes
• Weekend Requirement: Yes
• COVID & FLU: Required Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
• Locals allowed: No requires that your permanent residence is more than 50 miles from location
• RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission
