EurasiaGroup: Researcher Geotechnology
Eurasia Group is seeking a researcher with interest in globaltechnology and ICT regulatory and cybersecurity issues to conduct research insupport of analysis on the key issues affecting our large client base. Idealcandidate will a solid academic backgroundin global digital economy and cybersecurity developments to thejob. Some relevant work experience inthese areas desired but not required.
The candidate will work with Eurasia Groups Practice Head for Geotechnologyto identify monitor and analyze technologyrelated regulatory and key ICTmarket developments globally primarily in greater China the US Russia LatinAmerica and the EU.
The researcher will also understand how national and localpolitical forces shape the investment climate and tech regulatory environmentfor multinational firms in at least one other geographic area such as Russiaor Southeast Asia with special attention to regulatory and operational risks.
Responsibilitieswill include:
Ourwork environment is often fastpaced and very demanding. You must have anentrepreneurial spirit intellectual rigor and strong discipline. You will beexpected to handle complex research projects on tight deadlines. You must haveexcellent written and oral presentation skills in English and be comfortablepresenting and defending your analysis before senior executives at some of theworlds largest companies.
Professional/research fluency in at least one language relevant to areascovered by the Geotechnology Practice is a plus but not a requirement.
Applicantswill be considered for the firms Washington DC or New York offices and allapplicants must be eligible to work in the United States.
