Certified Heavy Duty Diesel Technician

Westlie Truck Center in Dickinsonis looking for experienced Diesel techs.. Westlies offers some of the highest wages in the area and a great benefit package.Westlies featuresWestern Star CAT Cummins Detroit Diesel and Allison Transmissions. Our shop is busy and we need more Techs This is a full time career with a wellestablished North Dakota Heavy Duty Truck Dealership. Responsibilities Diesel Technician:
- Diagnose maintain and repair truck systems including: Electrical steering suspension braking air conditioning and transmission.
- Communicate directly with the service advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
- Execute repairs to proper specifications.
- Maintain a clean working environment.
Qualifications Heavy Duty Diesel Technician:
- High degree of mechanical aptitude with a focus on efficiency.
- Effective oral & written communication
- Ability to follow directions
- Ability to use a computer
- A customer first attitude
- Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must have full mobility and be able to work with hands above head for extended periods of time.
- Must have valid drivers license
