Job Description

US Heart and Vascular is in need of a fulltime float Dual Sonographer to join our team at HeartPlace in the Dallas TX area. The sonographer will be responsible for performing echocardiography and vascular studies and related tests as ordered by the physician in accordance with acceptable medical practices and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs 2D Echo and Carotid Doppler studies.
  • Performs Stress Echo studies.
  • Travels to other clinics when needed to provide coverage and support
  • Responsible for performing a variety of noninvasive vascular evaluations
  • Follows all OSHA and other safety guidelines.
  • Ensures all required licensure/certification always remain active/current.
  • Provides excellent customer service and the highest quality patient care.
  • Actively demonstrates teamwork.
  • Always adheres to company safety standards.
  • Attends work in accordance with the attendance management policy.
  • Completes education requirements timely as set by the Company.
  • Duties responsibilities and activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.

Requirements:

  • Registry in echo testing is desired but will consider experienced vascular sonographer who is registry eligible and able to obtain certification in echo by the deadline set by the company.
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply.
