Position Overview
The University of North Texas at Dallas invites applications for a fulltime Psychology Lecturer in the areas of Neuroscience/Biopsychology or any related areas beginning Fall 2025. This is a nontenure track appointment. The successful candidate will be expected to achieve excellence in teaching and to participate in continued development of the UNTDallas Psychology Department which offers a B.A. degree in Psychology and a B.S degree in Psychology with a concentration in Neuroscience.
We are particularly interested in studentcentric innovative and energetic candidates who can help lead the development of UNTDs Psychology Department through program development and student research opportunities. We seek a Psychology specialist who can contribute to the Psychology program by teaching courses specific to neuroscience research methods and/or statistics.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Expectations for Lecturers at UNTD include excellent teaching and service resulting in contributions equivalent to a fourcourse load each semester. This workload expectation can be fulfilled through a combination of teaching and service. Faculty service opportunities may include activities such as curriculum development student research mentorship and university committee service.
