We have an excellent opportunity for an experiencedHeavy Equipment Shop/Field Mechanic Technician to join our team of professionals.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in heavy civil construction be organized motivated detailoriented and driven. Responsibilities and Job Duties:
- Service and perform repairs on all Construction equipment and other support equipment
- Maintain service repair and maintenance records
- Perform tasks from verbal/written instructions and communicate effectively with supervisor and fellow employees
- Keep work area clean and orderly
- Complete daily work assignments in a timely fashion
- To perform diagnostics and repairs on the electrical hydraulic and mechanical systems on various types of heavy equipment.
- To perform repairs including welding and fabrication on machine attachments and components
- To accurately document and communicate all repairs with the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Experience in heavy equipment diagnostics and repairs. Including the following systems: Electrical Hydraulic and Mechanical preferred. Some form of education or extensive background with equipment repairs required.
- Must have own tools.
- Moderate computer skills in Cat ET John Deere Service Advisor Outlook and Internet.
- Must have a clean motor vehicle record and a drivers license for medium duty mechanics trucks. Having a CDL Class B is not required but a Class B CDL is necessary to drive heavy duty mechanics trucks of location.
