Barista

Qualifications:

Previous work experience as aBarista or Waiter/Waitress.

Handson experience with brewingequipment

Knowledge of sanitation regulations

Flexibility to work various shifts

Basic math skills

Ability to gauge customerspreferences

Excellent communication skills

High school diploma; relevanttraining is a plus

Working conditions: Worksin an appropriate welllighted and ventilated space. Also requires standing andmoving around most of the time bending stooping and lifting 25 pounds ormore; performs repetitive movements throughout the work day.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to move intermittentlythroughout the day bending stooping standing walking around and liftingobjects 25 pounds or more or pushing a cart.

Standing approximately 80 of thework day.

Carries up to 25 pounds on a dailybasis or push a cart carrying 25 pounds or more.

Must function independently beflexible and ability to work effectively with residents and staff personnel.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers as they enter

Give customers drink menus andanswer their questions regarding ingredients

Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g.preferences of coffee blend dairy and sugar ratios)
