Line & Banquet Cooks
Precept Wine is the largest privately owned wine company in the Pacific Northwest. Were seamlessly integrated to run our own vineyards wineries and worldclass tasting rooms. Currently we are looking for the best and brightest to fill an immediate opening for a full time and a part time Line & Banquet Cook. This position will report directly to the Executive Chef and is based in Walla Walla WA at our Waterbrook Winery Tasting Room Location.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support the Executive Chef with any food related needs within the company.
- Provide excellent food and customer service for all Precept Wine property guests. Including but not limited to dinners happy hours hot/cold breakfasts and to go lunches.
- Prep and help execute banquet and private party events. This will include deep prep ala minute finishing of dishes and plating as well as cleaning up after the events.
- Complying with all applicable sanitation health and personal hygiene standards at all times.
- Responsible for the appropriate use of facility supplies and equipment to minimize loss waste and fraud.
- Follow the Executive Chef directions with food cleaning special events and gathering garden produce.
- Reports necessary equipment repair and maintenance to Executive Chef.
- Taking great care of our guests clients V.I.P.s and any other guest visiting our property.
- Make sure that all of the food is being checked for quality throughout service.
- Prepping and executing daily service when its being offered.
- Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment.
- Other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef.
Skills and requirements:
- Punctuality professional appearance and demeanor are required at all times.
- Must be willing to work nights and weekends.
- Must have a positive and outgoing personality.
- Communicate effectively professionally and honestly with all Precept Wine team members.
- Act in accordance with the culture and values of Precept Wine at all times
The position of Line & Banquet Cook is a unique one and has the opportunity to include acting as a private chef banquet cooking and catering. Some traveling within Eastern Washington to prepare group meals may also be required. We expect our cooks to possess good communication skills and to be trustworthy professional and honest when working with teammates and guests. We host some very large events and keeping a good attitude is essential.

This position will average about 2030 hours per week for parttime and over 32 hours per week for fulltime.
