Best Driving Academy part of BEST Logistics Group is now hiring dynamic Parttime CDL Instructors at our BRAND NEW facility in Burlington NC!
PartTime Instructors will work weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
At Best Driving Academy our goal is to prepare our students for realworld opportunities by providing them with training in a stateoftheart environment that utilizes technology and trainers with proven industry experience. The ideal candidate is an experienced driver instructor that can work well in a team environment and provide constructive feedback and realworld knowledge as they prepare students to obtain their CDL. CDL
Instructors MUST be able to provide instruction in a manual transmission vehicle (no restrictions) and MUST be willing to provide classroom yard and over the road instruction.
Job Duties
Provide instruction/examination to students in both a classroom and range environment.
Maintain a safe environment from both students and instructors.
Provide instruction in a classroom environment.
Provide instruction/examination behind the wheel and range instruction for a Class A Tractor Trailer
Observe document and provide feedback to students as necessary to improve skills and knowledge.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
Set up the classroom and range daily as needed.
Job requirements
Qualifications
Posses a valid Class A CDL License & Medical Certification
At least 2 years of Class A driving experiencewithin the last 5 years.
Must be able to pass a MVR and Criminal Background Check.
Must be able to obtain a copy of their Highschool Transcripts or GED (or copy of HS Diploma) for instructor packet
Must be able to become a licensed instructor by the State of North Carolina.
