Reporting to the Patient Care Manager and working in collaboration with the Chief of Professional Practice and Nursing or designate:
Provide consultation and education in wound ostomy and continence care.
Collaborate with the Clinical Nurse Specialist and interdisciplinary team members.
Work with Nurses Specialized in Wound Ostomy and Continence (NSWOC) across BC to support consistent standardsbased care.
Develop plan implement and evaluate education programs for staff.
Promote evidencebased clinical interventions in client care planning.
Build staff capacity and competence in wound ostomy and continence care.
Support quality improvement and best practices across care sites.
Travel between PHC sites using personal vehicle or shuttle service as required.
Regular local travel is required especially for roles supporting Residential sites.
