Job Description
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a Medical Oncology & Hematology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our busy practice at Franciscan Health Cancer Center located in Munster IN. The Nurse Practitioner will rotate between our locations atFranciscan Health Munster and Franciscan Health Dyer. The hospitals are stateoftheart facilities with a great support staff that works well together as a team.
WHAT WE NEED:
Ideal candidate will have 1 2 years of hematologyoncology or inpatient setting experience. The candidate will have a focus on clinical excellence and patient experience/satisfaction. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills with a desire to invest in the community building longlasting relationships with patients and their families.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
- Flexible fulltime schedule
- Rounding is arranged collaboratively with physician
- Outreach schedule can include Franciscan Health Dyer and Munster locations on a weekbyweek basis
- Shared weekend call with physicians
- Average inpatient volume: 5 10 patients per day
- Innovative new clinical trials program

Qualifications:
- Masters Degree Required
- Physician Assistant Certified (PAC) Required or
- Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nationally Recognized Certification Required
- Basic Life Support Program (BLS) American Heart Association Required
