Job Description
Forklift Operator
Qualifications:
- A High School Diploma GED or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of three years or more in forklift experience preferred.
- Forklift Certified preferred.
- CDL preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promotes executes and adheres to the companys safety program.
- Performs daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment.
- Conducts preoperational checks on equipment and clean lubricate and refill the equipment as necessary.
- Maneuvers forklift into loading or unloading positions and follow signals from loading crew as needed.
- Ensures a sound understanding of the issues involving ground disturbance.
- Performs routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure smooth operation of the equipment.
- Performs other construction duties or task as required based on companys needs.
