Associate Investments
This role is foundational within the investment team providing crucial support in financial modelling investment evaluation and due diligence processes. The Associate will work closely with senior team members contributing to various aspects of the investment lifecycle while developing their skills and knowledge in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of detailed financial models including cashflow projections financial statements and IRR calculations.
Analysis & interpretation of financial statements business models determination of company/transaction valuations.
Evaluate investment opportunities using quantitative and qualitative methods. Draft and present documents including Investment Memos Term Sheets Pitchbooks Teasers industry materials etc.
Provide support for fund raising activities.
Assist in deal structuring and closing principals.
Obtain periodic credit rating for portfolio assets.
Preparing internal MIS for all assets monthly.
Liaising with financial institutions banks consultants rating agencies among others.
Qualifications:
CA/MBA Finance with a minimum experience of 23 years post qualification in the relevant field.
Key Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Excel Microsoft Word & PowerPoint skills.
Understanding of financial statements Capital structures debt instruments and ratio analysis.
Impeccable communication and interpersonal relationship skills with the ability to interact with senior professionals and key stakeholders.
Strong logical analytical skills and a systematic problemsolving approach.
