Outreach Specialist
Riverside is seeking an Outreach Specialist to join our InHome Therapy program.
In this role the Outreach Specialist provides safe therapeutic skillbased interventions and activities for youth and families within the home and community to help improve social emotional and family functioning.
The Outreach Specialist:
- Participates in behavior management limit setting and crisis intervention as needed.
- Utilizes resources available through the program and in the community to support achievement of treatment goals and growth of youth and families being served.
- Transports youth and families to designated activities and events within the context of treatment plan goals.
- Closely communicates with Program Management and other HomeBased Clinicians and Treatment Team members in support of service planning and appropriate service provision.
Scheduled: Relief
- flexible hours between 8 a.m. 8 p.m. to meet the needs of the families
Pay Rate: $22.27/hourly

Required Skills
- Organizational and time management skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Computer skills
- Must have a valid drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle for transportation
Required Experience
- Bachelors Degree in mental health related discipline and one 1 year experience working with youth preferred
- Associate Degree in Human Services field and one 1 year experience working with youth
- High School Diploma or GED and minimum of two 2 years of experience working with youth
required.
- At least six months experience working with children and/or adolescents with emotional difficulties
and their families required. - Must be 21 years of age or older.
