This internship is an exciting opportunity for students interested in test automation DevOps and quality assurance to gain handson experience in enhancing automated testing frameworks for embedded web and mobile applications.
Responsibilities
What Youll Do:
As a Test Automation Software Development Intern youll play an important role in developing and improving automated testing frameworks that validate Haywards residential pool control systems. Youll work alongside senior developers and DevOps engineers to expand automation capabilities and ensure highquality product performance.
Automated Test Development & Framework Enhancement:
- Write test and debug automation scripts for embedded web and mobile applications.
- Assist in designing and developing system test automation scripts under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Improve and optimize existing automation frameworks to enhance testing efficiency.
Software Quality Assurance & Troubleshooting:
- Develop detailed test designs following software test engineering principles.
- Create integration regression performance and load test cases.
- Work closely with DevOps and development teams to identify and resolve performance issues.
- Define and collect test metrics to monitor system reliability.
Technology & Tools Exposure:
- Utilize Selenium Appium Python XML JSON and JavaScript for test automation.
- Work with databases and server administration (desired but not required).
- Test Haywards applications on iPad iPhone and Android devices.
Qualifications
What Were Looking For:
Currently enrolled as a rising senior in a Bachelor of Science (B.S. program in Computer Science or Information Technology.
Programming and scripting experience with a passion for developing highquality software.
Experience with Selenium Appium Python XML JSON JavaScript or similar.
Knowledge of databases and server administration is a plus.
Strong problemsolving analytical and communication skills.
Must have reliable transportation to and from the internship location.
Available MondayFriday 40 hours/week.
