Job Description
Description of the role:
The automotive refinish technician is responsible for performing automotive refinishing and painting work on vehicles brought into the Town & County Auto Body Collision Center. This includes preparing surfaces applying paint and ensuring a highquality finish on repaired vehicles.
Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces for painting including sanding masking and priming Mix paint colors to match vehicle specifications Apply paint using spray guns and other painting equipment Ensure proper drying and curing of paint finishes Inspect finished paint work for quality and make any necessary touchups or repairs Clean and maintain painting equipment and work area
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive refinish technician or similar role Strong knowledge of automotive paint products techniques and tools Detailoriented with excellent color matching skills Basic computer skills for entering work orders and accessing technical information
