Job Description
Total Access Urgent Care (TAUC) is seeking a dedicated Medical Director to lead the delivery of highquality compassionate care to patients in an acute care setting. As the leading urgent care provider in the Greater St. Louis area TAUC has been serving the community since 2008 and is now expanding into Kansas City. TAUC (pronounced talk) was founded and designed by emergency medicine physicians who believe that patients deserve access to fast friendly and affordable healthcare.

What Youll Do:
- Responsible for clinical/medical practice oversight
- Provide clinical direction and training to providers
- Ensure comprehensive care for patients of all ages
- Serve as a role model and leader for the clinical team
- Procedures to include EKG and Xray interpretation abscess incision and drainage infection management reduction of dislocations splinting of minor fractures laceration repair IV hydration and medication administration
- Communicate test results followup care and other treatment plans as appropriate
- Provide a level of care that goes beyond the traditional urgent care setting
Minimum Qualifications:
- Board Certified (or Board Eligible) in Emergency Medicine Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (with pediatric experience) preferred
- Licensed in state of practice
- Experience with procedures such as suturing and abscess I&D
- Experience with reading diagnostics studies including Xrays and EKGs
- Clinical experience in emergency medicine urgent care or ambulatory care highly preferred
- ACLS and PALS Certification preferred
