Job Description

Regional Group is seeking an experienced and reliable Quarry Supervisor for our quarry based in Blackwater Queensland.

Reporting directly to the Quarry Manager the Quarry Supervisor is primarily focused on the daytoday supervision management and logistics of the hard rock quarry.

Responsibilities:

  • Motivating and leading employees and contractors to achieve desired business outcomes.
  • Supporting the Quarry Manager to ensure the processing of materials are compliant and meet relevant Australian standards.
  • Responsible for quality control in conjunction with client requirements and sitespecific quarry management plan.
  • Managing sales targets and budgets.
  • Responsible for meeting and achieving production targets.
  • Responsible for overseeing all quarry operations developments and ongoing production plans for the Blackwater Quarry.

Required skills and experience:

  • 5 years experience working in the quarrying industry.
  • Sound understanding of quarry regulations and requirements.
  • Strong management and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills.
  • Relevant RII tickets
  • S1 S2 S3
  • White Card.
  • HR licence
  • Previous excavator loader and Haul Truck experience.
  • Crushing and screening experience.
