Job Description
Job Summary:
As a Parts Counterperson at Classic Toyota Wilkesboro you will play a vital role in our dealerships success by providing exceptional customer service and assisting our customers in finding the parts they need for their vehicles. This is a fulltime position with a combination of base salary and commission offering a competitive salary and benefits package. This individual contributor role requires a strong knowledge of automotive parts and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our customers. The job is located in North Wilkesboro North Carolina.
Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this role is $45000 to $65000 per year paid semimonthly. In addition to the base salary there is also a commission structure in place to reward outstanding performance. Our benefits package includes health dental and vision insurance as well as a 401(k) plan and paid time off.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
Identify and locate automotive parts based on customer needs
Use parts manuals computer databases and other resources to find and order parts
Recommend additional products or services to customers when appropriate
Keep track of inventory levels and order new parts as needed
Price and label parts accurately
Maintain a clean and organized parts department
Provide excellent customer service at all times
Keep uptodate with new parts and automotive technology
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with automotive parts
Strong knowledge of automotive parts and their functions
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Computer proficiency specifically with parts databases and systems
Ability to lift heavy parts and stand for long periods of time
Must be able to work in a fastpaced teamoriented environment
Valid drivers license
