Job Description
As a Service Advisor you will own our customers experience in the service lane. You are the first point of contact with our customers and will be wellversed in product offerings inventory needs technician scheduling and customer service. From greeting vehicle owners on the drive line to explaining the repair process our Service Advisors are true professionals who enjoy helping others.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for service customers providing outstanding customer serviceleavinga positive impression with the customer. Maintain a high customer service index.
- Actively listen to engage and understand the customers vehicle concerns and answer technical questions regarding repairs warranties and services
- Create repair order and communicate vehicle needs clearly to technician; evenly distribute work between technicians
- Communicate vehicle diagnoses and maintenance needs to customer. Advise and sell needed work
- Follow up on vehicles throughout the repair process keeping customer updated
- Interact with customers vendors and technicians in a professional manner at all times
- Return calls of customers who are interested in setting up new appointments
- Complete all required positionbased testing
- Maintain a clean and neat appearance
- Other duties as needed to support the business
Automotive Service Advisor Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be able to work Saturdays
- 2 years of franchise dealerlevel or large facility service advisor experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/RAM automotive products preferred but not required
- Unrestricted NYS drivers license and clean driving record required
- Automotive dispatch skills a strong plus but not required
- Excellent time management communication and customer service skills
- Neat clean and professional appearance
- Basic computer and internet skills
- Physical Requirements: Ability to bend kneel squat stand and lift up to 25 lbs. as needed; Spends 50 of workday standing/walking
