Job Description
Journeyman Electrician
As a Electrician within our Services Group youll be responsible for installing maintaining and repairing electrical systems within the commercial and industrial electrical construction industry. Exceptional technical and problemsolving skills are essential for identifying and promptly addressing electrical issues.
Essential Functions
- Process knowledge to complete task assignments in all aspects of trade related materials components equipment systems methods of installation safety procedures hand sketch and blueprint interpretations troubleshooting and commissioning.
- Ensure safe working conditions through regular site inspections.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems in electrical circuits systems and equipment.
- Ability to work independent in some aspects of electrical project duties and tasks including conduit bending wire pulling threading wire terminations and troubleshooting.
- Operate any and all hands tools power tools and equipment necessary to preform all trade assignments.
- Assure proper use of company equipment and materials.
- Prepare daily and weekly field reports as required.
- Ensure compliance with state and local electrical codes and safety policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Commercial and Industrial Experience is a plus.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years experience through onthejob training or successful completion of an electrical apprentice program.
- Current and valid state of residence drivers license.
- Ability to read understand and execute project scope/specs from blueprints and schematics.
- Can work independent in some aspects of electrical project duties and tasks including conduit bending wire pulling threading wire terminations and troubleshooting.
Travel:
- Occasional overnight travel with weekend trips home
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and carry minimum of 50 pounds
- Must be able to bend squat crawl and balance
