WHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a DevOps team member. If you have Kubernetes experience and a good understand of Operations and Deployments this is the role for you. You will be part of an international team working with IPST devices across the globe. If youre ready to take your career to the next level and work on some of the most innovative projects in the industry then this job is for you!
- Incident Change and Problem Management support
- Setup and maintain CI CD and GitOps pipelines
- Setup and maintain deployments
- Kubernetes Deployment and Config
- Monitoring with Grafana Prometheus Loki
- Support and implement worldwide rollout projects (migrate old system to new one)
- Take part in regular Scrum meetings via MS Teams. Daily Planning Estimation Refinement Review Retro
- Liaise with stakeholders and collaborate with team members
- Support existing solutions DevOps
Minimum Requirements
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE NEEDED FOR THE ROLE
- Relevant IT Degree / Diploma / equivalent work Experience.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Kubernetes Deployment and Configuration over Helm
- Pipeline Setup and Automation (e.g. Github Actions)
- Infrastructure as Code & GitOps tools like ArgoCD
- Experience with ITIL Operation processes (Incident Problem Change management)
- Experience with public cloud providers e.g. Microsoft Azure AWS
- Monitoring with Grafana Prometheus Loki
- Version control and branching strategies (Git)
- Linux and knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Bash)
- OPS Design Patterns
- Data Driven Architecture
- Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Kafka Knowledge
- Confluence / Jira
- Agile Working Model (AWM)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Problem solving skills
- Fitforbusinesspurpose mindset i.e. the solutions provided must meet the business goals.
- Excellent communication skills and teamoriented work behaviour in a globally distributed team.
- Strong ability to understand and interpret Business needs and requirements with the ability to move concepts through to proposal and finally successful implementation.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and written) with both technical and nontechnical colleagues / users.
- Proficient in conducting user research in foreign markets i.e. language barriers may exist.
